Educational content writing
Having the expertise is one thing, but designing, writing, and constructing learning programs is something else entirely.
I work with people and organisations to design and develop learning programs that are inclusive, engaging, and meaningful for learners. These can be built from clients’ knowledge and research, or I can research and develop the content from scratch with your guidance.
My strengths lie in creative and practical applications of a wide range of learning theories that target the needs of a wide range of learner ages, levels, interests, and needs.

Training
The best educators don’t simply deliver content, they engage and entertain with thought-provoking, meaningful, and carefully designed resources, programs, and activities. I work with clients to develop and deliver training on areas within my expertise.
I also offer existing programs, which can be delivered online and sometimes in person. These programs include:
training for teachers in secondary and/or adult education on teaching with confronting content;
a professional development program on building inclusive and engaging online learning; and
a “research to publication” coaching program for doctoral students and early career academics.
Consulting
I work with businesses, educational institutions, not-for-profit organisations, and individuals to understand learning needs and develop quality learning experiences for learners from early childhood to adulthood. My areas of expertise include:
inclusive and trauma-informed educational practices;
pedagogies and design for digital/online and blended learning;
differentiation (targeting a range of learner needs and preferences); and
museum and cultural heritage education.

Research & evaluation
I’m an experienced researcher with a track record in both qualitative and mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) studies.
I conduct evaluations and research projects for organisations and individuals needing to assess the effectiveness of programs and approaches, or to determine current best practices and ideas in a particular field. I specialise in interviews and focus groups (online or in person), and I employ innovative methods to get meaningful data.
I am also highly accomplished at desk-based research, including literature reviews and reports, and I have access to an extensive range of resources to inform research.
